Baron Julian Paunceforte correspondence [manuscript] 1853-1902.

Correspondence chiefly concerns his diplomatic career, including his tenure as ambassador to the U.S. and consists mainly of routine letters of appointment and congratulations. An 1889 letter from the Marquess of Salisbury touches on legal issues over the Bering Sea controversy. The final group of letters concern his death and burial and include condolences to his widow.
